The Band was formed during Summer 2014, from a combination of ideas between the three founder members: Marco Salusso (leader voices), Simone Macchia (lead guitars) and Gianluca Mondo (back voices and rhythmic guitars). The target is already clear: to join the strong love for the fairy tales and the singer's land with the guitarists' will to create a new, melodic and technical genre. The Love for the forests, mountains and its inhabitants, visible and invisible, immediately pushes the formation towards a song writing that recalls the most poignant sensations that man can experience in the presence of the immensity of nature. During May 2015, the Band releases two singles, While Obscurity Fills My Eyes and Return to the Forest, where the use of the hurdy-gurdy was tried out.
One year later, after lots of gigs in Turin and after many misadventures due to continuous changes in the band line up, they published two new singles: Hopeless Land and Haunt the World. The next year, the band keeps working on new songs, including in the line-up Luca Capurso (transverse flute).
Thanks to him and to his great technical and writing skills, the song writing style of the group changes completely, becoming more dynamic and pushing the members towards new horizons of experimentation. Later, during Winter 2017, the drummer Alberto Ferreri is inserted in the line-up and this event pushes the band to new goals: in the next seven months, Legacy Of Silence recorded their first totally self-product EP, Nightfall, and, also, they finally completed the writing of the tracks of the first album. With the line-up completed, Legacy Of Silence participate the “Entropy Fest 2018”, winning the first prize. They also received special prize of the critics and the awards of best soloist for the flutist Luca Capurso and Best drummer for Alberto Ferreri. After the victory shown at the “Entropy Fest”, the line-up underwent another change with the entry of a historic member, Alberto Ferrero, who returns to play the bass after many years. Strong of these successes, during 2019, the band begins its collaboration with Volcano Records and Promotions, with which will publish their first album during May 2019.

La band nasce nell'estate del 2014, da un connubio di idee tra i tre fondatori: Marco Salusso(voce lead), Simone Macchia(chitarra solista) e Gianluca Mondo(Voce e chitarra ritmica). L'obiettivo è subito chiaro: unire il forte amore per le fiabe e per la terra del cantante con la volontà dei chitarristi di creare un genere nuovo, melodico e tecnico. L’amore per le foreste, le montagne e per i loro abitanti, visibili e invisibili, spinge da subito la formazione verso una composizione che rievochi le più struggenti sensazioni che l’uomo possa provare, al cospetto dell’immensità della natura.
La prima formazione, nel maggio del 2015, rilascia i due singoli While Obscurity Fills My Eyes e Return to the Forest, nei quali decide di sperimentare l'uso della ghironda. A distanza di un anno esatto, nel maggio 2016, dopo diverse date a Torino e svariate disavventure a causa di continui cambi di membri, la band pubblica due nuovi singoli: Hopeless Land e Haunt the world. Nell’anno successivo, la band, continua a comporre, includendo nella formazione Luca Capurso ( Flauto traverso).
Grazie al suo ingresso e alla sua grande capacità tecnica e di scrittura, la dinamica compositiva del gruppo cambia completamente, spingendone i membri verso nuovi orizzonti di sperimentazione.
Nel tardo inverno del 2017, viene inserito in formazione il batterista Alberto Ferreri, che spinge la band verso nuovi obiettivi: in sette mesi i Legacy of Silence registrano, autoproducendosi totalmente, il primo EP Nightfall e completano definitivamente la stesura delle tracce del primo Album.
Con la formazione finalmente al completo, i Legacy Of Silence partecipano all’Entropy Fest 2018, vincendo il primo premio. Ottengono, inoltre, il premio speciale della critica e i riconoscimenti di miglior solista per il flauto di Luca Capurso e Miglior batterista per Alberto Ferreri.
Dopo la vittoria riportata all’Entropy Fest, la formazione subisce un ulteriore variazione con l’ingresso di un membro storico, Alberto Ferrero, che torna a suonare il basso dopo anni di assenza.
Forte di questi successi, la band Inizia nel 2019 la propria collaborazione con Volcano Records and Promotion, con cui pubblicherà il primo album in uscita nel Maggio 2019.
